At Savintle, we pay extremely close attention to our user’s experience. As such we welcome your questions and look forward to improving your experience and, along the way, the intuitivism of Savintle.
Here are some of short cuts that would help you us Savintle better:
1) I wrote a vague search term (e.g. “book” ), but I only got 10,000 results. Why?
- Answer: We encourage our users to explore Savintle in any way they see fit. While users would find what they are looking for faster with a tuned search term, we do not discourage our users from writing what they want, showing them results for any term that come to their mind.
2) But doesn’t this mean that even generic terms would result in pages and pages of products and services?
- Answer: Correct. Unlike other search engines, Savintle takes its “user-friendly” approach to the next level, providing users with results no matter how vague their search is.
3) Ok. I understand. What about these results themselves. I ,“the user”, in browsing 100,000,000 results for “book”. Is there a way around this?
- Answer: Of course. Savintle values the time our users spend browsing our service. As such, we present you with up to 20,000 results no matter how vague the search is, allowing you to further tune your search.
4) Still too many results, how can I focus my search further?
- Answer: You can filter results further by:
i. Store offering the product
ii. Category under which the product falls
iii. Brand of the product
iv. Price range (from ~ to)
5) Ok. What if I changed my mind and wanted to see ALL the items one of the stores listed in my result list?
- Answer: Easy . If you want to browse all products from a particular store, just click on the store icon.
6) Is there a limit to the number of products displayed for a single store?
- Answer: No. Our users tell us that once they chose a store, they do want to see every single item offered by the store. Some of stores participating in Savintle offers millions of products, which can be filtered by the selectors mentioned in (4) above.
7) I tried to enter my merchant rating, but instead got “already rated”. What does that mean?
- Answer: It means that the user has already rated this store.
